LETTra strengthened digitally enhanced education for youth workers – by online activities, blended learning settings and hybrid arrangements in youth work education and training. We gathered educational practice examples from 5 youth work organizations in both Austria and Greece already working with digital learning tools. The collected material was analyzed and good practice identified. Based on these findings, a tool and didactics manual was developed and tested in a pilot workshop with trainers in youth work in both countries. The resulting course material was made available to other youth work trainers in online repositories.
The project results included knowledge and experience from different areas of youth work, different organizations and individual trainers. Not only did this increase the quality of youth work by increasing the quality of youth work training, but also highlighted innovative learning settings in the organizations’ training programmes. By publishing good practice to an audience beyond youth work, we showed the quality of youth work training and contributed to the recognition of youth work and youth workers’ competencies in particular.
LETTra was awarded the „Good Practice“ label by the Austrian National Agency.
